Muffler guitar build

    Picked up a new surgical tool for this project:

    Also, I have several bottles of TransTint dyes ($$), but no orange. So I picked up some RIT at JoAnn Fabrics for $3.59, and it works just fine for this project; should really pop under some amber nitro clear:

    Neck positioned and muffler opened up. Now to build an internal structure to attach the neck & bridge, then seal off the end cap.

    Can't play worth a crap, but I like to build 'em. I have friends who can play, so when it's done, I'll see if I can talk one of them into playing & recording it.

    Got the front cover cut & fitted today, and cut out for the bridge and mounted that.
    I've decided to use mini pots on this build; they'll give me many more placement options in the tight quarters. I think the switch is going in the top corner, LP-style.
    Looks like everything is working like I planned- go figure...
