And Today I received the original seatbelts back from Python Restorations! They did a fantastic job! http://pythonrestoration.com/
Cool. I never liked black belts, unless the interior was black. I always thought they needed to be color-matched.
Taking her to Champoeg State Park this weekend for the All Ford Show. Its an unjudged show... just a picnic in the park, and look at some Fords.
Took Brittany to the Ranchero Enthusiasts International Show in Woodburn today. I think there were 30+ Ranchero's... and a few nice wagons. Not all stayed around for the photo. I will post more pictures of the show in the lounge later.
Doesn't that count as a record gathering of Rancheros ? Only time I have witnessed more than that number together was at Ford's Atlanta Assembly Plant.
Your eyes are deceiving you... It is Brittany Blue, and a 69 GT... BUT... 302 with a Turbo... but you can own it if you want
Also... for those with a FB account... check out the Ford Torino Club 1968-1979 banner Car of the Week!!!
Nice variety pack ! Oh fyi that's a Kenne Bell supercharger not a turbo. Very efficient for size though.
Hit the post button and knew I had it wrong... but it was 1AM and was trying to get to bed... so I let it go! Should have waited until today.
Well I finally got the Dash, Arm Rests, Steering wheel Center, Cluster, Clock, and Dash Trim sent off to Instrument Specialties! Anxious to post up the interior when I get everything back! Only thing left after this is the original block... sigh!!! May have to come out of retirement, or hit the lottery for that one!
Should know in the next day or two as to what the time frame is... Dash, Arm rests, and Steering wheel center should be a few months if it is just clean and re-dye. If they need to be re-made... time and money will go crazy! Cluster and Clock could be 4-6 Months. What's going to take time is the plastic Dash trim... 10-12 months is possible. Hopefully things will go faster.
Here 's hoping it all goes smooth and faster for you. Have chrome at a local place going on 2 years, it's in copper now. Even shop owner was embarrassed with time frame, again. Just means I will send rest out thru UPS. Tried to be local friendly but this time frame is ridiculous.
Just received the Newsletter from Ranchero Enthusiast International... The official count of Ranchero's registered for the September Show in Wilsonville was 40, plus a few Fords for fun! Apparently they are not all shown. More pictures, including a picture from the tour at SMS Auto fabrics, in Canby, OR. And the 68 Ranchero Christmas Ornament, which I have.
