I am going to do the hood flat black but I am thinking of putting some stripes coming from the hood down the fenders and on the side like the 70 Boss

Love that blue -- if my car had better sheet metal that's the color I'd paint it.

I would say no boss stripe, it crashes with the nice sleak lines of the 70/71 style body.
And the chero was never delivered with a boss engine. Was it ?
But its your car, you do what you whant :)
    Looks very nice in blue.
    Good luck:cool:

That's the color I wanted to paint mine. I also toyed with the Boss stripe idea, but gave it up. The body lines don't like that stripe.

That was the reason I was questioning it. Mine came with a 302 and was a plan jane car. It was my older brother's car and he put the 351C in it. I did a little research and found the part number on the block of the 351 Boss motor so I am going to check today if it is not then it is a no go.

My feelings is I don't really care if was never delivered but if it has the thing that made it a Boss a Boss I am fine with it.

Has anyone noticed the tailgate? I will post some more pics today after I put it back together a little and let you guys find the mods to it.
This started out as my brother's car and he pasted away before it was completed. He did alot to the body some that I would not have done but I am not going to change it.

With it shaved, I would leave the stripe off to accent the clean lines.
I notice no shark fin. You going to do without an antenna?

275/60 R15 So about 10 1/2inches on the ground. I could get about 12" back there with the right back spacing.

If you got a boss in there, I would let everybody know.:D
But maybe making the stripe a bit more "soft" and following the bodylines.
I know its like you put it on there originally, but would look better:cool:
You have a very nice ride there, looking forward to see it finnished:D

Or how about putting the Boss in a flame detail at the nose or scoop?

i also love the Grabber Blue! another consideration would be to make the "Boss 351 " script similar to the "Boss 429" script on Mustangs and lose the stripe altogether....still gets the message across just more subtly
