Recently purchased 1971 500 with a couple 351Cs. Neighbor is building the 2bbl for street use. Air cruck with with no air components foward of tubes thru firewall so have to figure out parts need for next summer. Has a small diameter grant fat wheel. Does anyone know what year stock steering wheels will fit?
I have not figured out how to add pictures.

You can make any steering wheel fit with the right adaptor. I believe that 70-71 would fit it? Post some pics of your ride as well.

You guys are good. Taught me cut & paste one easy step. Next. Planning on swapping the AOD hooked to the 302FI in the 86 XLT with trans in the 71 351C as I plan on keeping Chero and driving on street. Printed and read everything I can find, but still not sure about the flexplates direct swap due to depth. Other than that the only thing I should have to buy is TV cable and brackets to connect to the 4bbl Edlebrock. Then put manifold and carb got for my 65 289 in XLT. Right?

I do not think of pics till get here on computer. Trying to get the rebuilt 351C factory 4 bbl engine bought from guy down road with high $ Mustangs. He bought a project 70 coupe for the 5 spd trans and sold me the engine. It is the best sounding and most powerful engine I have had. Should geit it together this weekend and get it out of barn and get some pictures,

[IMG] Lucked up on recently rebuilt 351C 4V out of 70 Mustang project guy down road bought for the 5 speed trans. He has high $ Mustangs and did not want engine as he did not know how it was built. It is the best sounding and most powerful engine I ever had. Was going good through thunder storm but then temperature dropped 20 deg in hour. Maybe this weekend finish.

Got it together and drove to work Friday. 50 mph @ 2000 rpm. Saturday went to see Ford guy down road that drives a 1985 lb 29 2 dr sedan with 4v 351c and big back tires that goes real fast real quick. He is going to build me a 2.73 and swap for this low ratio rear end because I want to run to Bristol end of June 75 mph less than 2400 rpm. Still have to find steering wheel, jukebox, and parts to mount AOD.[IMG]
