Hi guys, I recently picked a 1970 Ranchero 500 and so far I'm loving it! Here in Hawai'i you see a lot of El Caminos, but not so many Fords, so needless to say, I get a lot of "Nice El Camino!"s! My car came from Ford in Grabber Green, with factory A/C, automatic and the 351C. I've owned a few old Fords in the past, including a '57 Fairlane, a '59 F100 and a '53 Crestline (woody) wagon. So far, I've rebuilt the carb, replaced the window felts, replaced the starter with a hi-torque one, and installed lowering springs in the front. Also trying to get the A/C going. I think I'm going to need help with that! And I ordered some hide away headlights from Larry! Can't wait for those to arrive. Anyways, see you guys around! Byron
Oh, Hell, I love that color, along with the striping. Please tell me it's spent all it's days in a climate-controlled garage when not getting driven?
Larry has all the parts for Rancheros and Torinos and stuff. That's not Larry on the hood by the way. That's my wife.
This is a pic you need to do in the daytime, her in the getup she's wearing, you in a suitable 1970 getup with leather hat.
