scuff it up some and rub dirt on it so it will match the rest of the car
l'm just happy carl finally washed his 'rear end'
Hey Shok after a couple of trips to P.I.P. it will look the same as the rest of THE PYL!
Looks good, Carl. That was some fast work, too. A new rear end scrounged, cleaned up, rebuilt, painted & installed in only 8 days! You take some vacation time?
No vacation time saving that for when I lose my job at the end of the year. That Is one of the perks of working graveyard have the days to my self so I can get stuff done. Was not going to paint it but when I cleaned the grease off it was to clean not to. So a $2.49 can of OSH satin black took care of that.
I had to get it back on the road quick so Shok would not go through withdrawls!
Very nice! I spend 8 years just thinking about you get done in 8 days!
are you really expecting layoffs at the end of the year?
i got laid off days b4 i was gonna take my vacation, was nice to get the money from them buying the vacation time.
LInk to post
Not expecting layoffs plant shutting down!
When we shut down Ill have 8 weeks vacation on the books. Looks like we may be able to defer severence payment to jan of 2006 also witch should help on the taxes.

By the way colin its now 4 out of 5 running. Will get tranny for bird this week then that will be 5 out of 5 running!!!!!!!
did you get your 'rear end' lubed again l got three out of three legal and running right now even the caddycrap passed emmissions, good job on the chero, any idea what caused that with the axle ??? colin
Probly the fact I overload the crap out of it! I am sure hauling 2600+ lbs to turlock in it last Jan did not help it. And yes it got a fresh LUBE JOB!
Hey when are you doing the tranny in the tbird? I still want the old one to rip apart. I can't help this weekend but I can help the following.
This weekend besides family junk I have to change the rear in my capri which is clunking badly when I put it in gear, luckily that parts tbird I have has a good rear with 3:45 gear and a t-lok.
Oh and when driving to work this morning I saw the pyle parked infront of the junkyard, actually my GF pointed it out. So all is right with the world as I see the pyle all around town again.
