I just got in from my roundup. Sorry for the short notice. It was great. Good times, good friends, good food. My chili took second but I was out of beans anyway so that was a better finish than I expected. I'm gonna have another one soon.

    it's already April

We're already into April now, so have we figured out whether or not a national meet is going to take place? Before we know it, it's gonna be '09.

We are shooting for 09 for a Biggie. Everyone said 08 was too short of Notice to plan.

I agree with that. I'm all for sometime in 09. I meant (my post above) that 09 will be here before we know it and we don't have anything nailed down.

Thanks for that link. There are more Drive-Ins still operating in Tennessee than I realized. A new one that is not on that list opened up in my area last summer. I hope they do well.

The Drive-In in Concord, California is still operating. For those from out of state, Concord is close to San Francisco, Napa, Sonoma, Infineon Raceway, Santa Cruz, and Sacramento.

Boy Denny, that list needs updated. There's a three screen year-round drive-in only four miles from my house that has food like a fancy resturant at affordable prices. On Hwy. 41A between EstillSprings and Tullahoma. Been built at least three years.

Email them and let them know.
There is now only one drive-in Movie theater still running movies in Los Angeles County. The Grapevine in the City of Industry.
Only a few years back I use to take my son to several different ones throughout Los Angeles, and when I was a kid, there was a Drive-in about every two miles in the San Gabriel Valley.

As I did not vote in 2008, I voted for California.
Doubt it will change the outcome.
