Well spring is springing to life here in the north. And I'm kinda eager to get going on my restoring 69 Ranchero GT. It's raven black. I'm looking to install a new interior. Door panels, carpet, split bench seat. I need a new rubber boot n trim bracket for the 4 speed too. I'm looking for recommendations on where to shop. I will say this. Trying to get companies to ship to AK and it's like a foreign country. Very expensive. I may just take my beautiful wife n go on a little vacation. Send parts to family n I'll get them home. I need some upper wheel well replacement arches for a 76 highboy and my 78 F-250. They cost 30 bucks. Shipping is 275 bucks. Per panel. Jeesh !!!!! Oh well. Still the best place in the world to live. I was able to find another 69 Ranchero for sale for a doner. Pretty good shape, needs an engine but I've got a couple around. Anyhows I hope the new year is going well and you're able to hang out with your ol iron. Stay safe n have fun

Yeah I've checked out quite a few different companies. Just wondering if folks felt that one may be better than the other. I have a few other projects I need parts for. Some patch panels for a couple F-250 highboys. Rocker panels for 83 GMC Jimmy n such. I'm kinda thinking that my beautiful wife n me may take a trip outside n go do some vacation type stuff. Just goof off a bit
I have a 4 sp 69 GT as well and just had the engine rebuilt. ( I live in So CAl and don't nearly have the parts/service limitations you do... but, at the end of the day - you live in AK - and that's pretty special...) Am going to be working on the interior soon - I'll share what companies I'm using for seats, headliner, door panels and etc... good luck!
I have had great luck with the auto upholstery shops both in Tennessee and now in Colorado. I've had them do carpet, custom door panels, headliners, and refurbish seats. Check around your area and look over the work by your local shops.
I'm looking at Pro Fit Interiors for seat covers, headliner, and front door panels - anyone use them? Thanks. But I'm into doing my own thing. Actually I worked in a custom van shop for a few years in the 70s. Did a lot of really cool stuff to rides
My ol man taught me that there is nothing in this world that I can't do ! For me, it's been a way of life. Build my own house, fix my own hot rods
