Does anyone have or know where I could find an idler arm for my 63 falcon ranchero? I’ve heard they don’t repop them. I’m desperate

If you click on the part number, it will bring up a dialog box that shows what all it is compatible with. Looks like it's good for these:

    FORD FALCON 1960-1965
    FORD FALCON SEDAN DELIVERY 1961-1965
    FORD MUSTANG 1965-1966
    FORD RANCHERO 1960-1965
    MERCURY COMET 1960-1965

    Although it gives this disclaimer:

Please refer to catalog for application details.

That's probably their way of saying that it might work for the inline 6, but not the V8.

I have not had any luck with idler arms even if they say they work for a ‘63 ranchero. Does anyone know of any old ford places i could call who could maybe help in locating one? Any help would be appreciated. Almost a year searching and not much luck

One of the places I suggest to others is Green Sales Co. in Ohio. They've dealt with obsolete Ford parts since their start, and even if they don't have the part, they can send you the exact info you need to find one.

Bushing kits for those idler arms are available if you care to rebuild. NAPA should have them. had my 65's. It was a 8 cyl though.
