Just learning how things work with the software editor. Still have some stuff to do. Weather has been rainy and and work is slow, so basically nothing better to do
I really like the new set up! (like even better I can get on now all the time!!!) Great job and thank you
It's a shiny new toy Carl. He will tire of it soon enough. In the meantime, we all appreciate the effort he is expending.
Added Smilies and a PayPal link to the Donating Members Category :car::welcome::2guns::cheers::naughty:arty::thumbup::BS-Flag:eace:
OK people, what you see is what you get, we are Done here for a bit. I edited page description, so you can see it. Edited the member card from Black to Blue so text is easily visible. I think we are good for a bit until I get a better handle on xenforo and their apps. I will probably add a few more smilies and such but the platform is set.
OK, I'm pretty lazy so I don't really want to do any investigating on this page. How can you set it so the last post is shown when you open a thread, instead of the first?
But... when one goes to an existing thread with no new posts. Such as the fishin' thread. Harder to get to the most recent post when one wishes to scan through the progress of a long existing thread. At least, I think that is what Sean and I were hinting at...
Sean go into the Forum Ranchero pics. We will use your Post for an example. Facebook Rancheros: Go to the Right hand side under thread. See your name as the Author: Sean See the time it was posted???? Simply click the Time under your name Sean. It will take you to the last post of the last page . The only thing different is you scroll the opposite way. You scroll up not down but it is the same function.
OK it is one click of the mouse either way, not an extra step. You would have to Click on the thread correct? Then you would have the last post first correct?? The same mouse click on a different area of the thread gets you to the same place. So in actuality there is no extra step involved, you are simply clicking a different area with that same mouse click.
If you like to browse the Forum and read posts that way. I suggest you use the right hand column to access threads by the timestamp. I just browsed that way and its pretty cool. :naughty: You still will have to scroll up instead of down.
