Hello from snow covered Idaho. Thanks for all the good info, I have been using this site as a guest for some time now. I love to restore old cars and trucks but have never done a Ranchero, until my wife made a deal on a 69 Rio Grand for free! However after inspecting the truck I think she over paid. I have been repairing rust(alot) pulled the 351w and not usable so found a 302 and have done a nice rebuild. Body work is 90% done and the new Orange and black will be sprayed next week ( I hope). I'm hoping to be done late spring, if I can figure out how I will post pics.( I still use a flip phone).
    Thanks

Mine sat in a pasture for over 20 years. I removed enough dirt from every nook and cranny to plant a garden. It also had a mouse nest big enough in the tail gate to almost fill my shop vac.

Ah, yes, Twin Falls...Buhl's not far...my great-grandpa had a farm outside of Buhl a bit over a Century ago, until the president and owner of the largest bank in town absconded with all the money to South America, and a bunch of area farmers lost their farms that day, including my great grandpa.
