Whelp, it’s been a minute (10+ years) since I originally registered on this forum, and I’ve finally decided to git er done! So, I thought I would reintroduce myself.

The 351M Squire has been sitting forlornly in my garage all this time, and I’ve been walking by it for years, thinking “ I really need to get back to this.”

What started out as a cruddy engine compartment refresh, and a few additional upgrades, ground to a halt when the next task facing me was replacing front coil springs. The Torino front suspension design was truly intimidating for me when it came to compressing, then removing & replacing those things on the wonky angled control arms.

But finally last month, a retired certified mechanic friend of mine and I took it on! Even he was a bit nervous. Ha! But we did it.

So now, back to the project. Need to get the dash back in place after fixing some wiring hacks, which led to upgrading instrumentation lights with HiPo LED kit. Engine compartment needs finishing, with cleaned, blasted intake manifold, valve covers and air cleaner done awhile ago ready to go back on.

Hoping to re-engage with the experts here with questions I already have.
