We are, truly, awesome. The thing is, we will no doubt soon be ridiculed for being the sort of people everyone wishes to become. Damn, you just can't please some people.
Hey, rich people are ridiculed for being rich. Attractive people are ridiculed for being attractive. We can't and shouldn't worry about someone else's jealousy issues. We just keep giving, keep being beautiful, and keep staying positive. It's what we do.
Oh, stop it. You had just robbed the poor family on a Pontiac Sunfire. The fact that you found a tiny little bit of conscience doesn't qualify you for a Nobel Peace Prize. (Those are reserved for liberal politicians anyway.)
insult to injury, the car is now posted on ebay for a 2500 premium http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1966...2329057?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item460ccad0e1
Is it the same seller? If so give him a call and ask what the hell. Explain that you were on your way down there and paid for the rental of the trailer. Could also get him in trouble with ebay because of that too if you really feel like causing injury.
I doubt it's the same seller, someone probably bought it on the spot from him for the amount he wanted and is now trying to get into the "flip" biz.
The Ranchero looks nice in the pictures but sometimes pictures don't tell the whole story. I still say it's odd that someone would do all that work and not upgrade the brakes. It makes me wonder what else he didn't do that he should have.
Still sucks. I'd watch the auction and if it doesn't sell, and you really want it, I'd call him and offer him what you offered the other guy.
well the dark side lured me in... i bought a 64 El Camino 383 stoker with roller cams/rockers headers 4 sp munsie 12 bolt posi with 3.73 I hope we can still be friends.
I believe we can all still be friends if you post more pictures Looks like it's been lowered, and the way it sits is sweet.
Nice looking El. I like the pre-70's ones. Options for what you wanted in a Ranchero were kind of crappy so I'm sure everyone understands. Don't think anyone here is that much of a hard ass to hate you for it. Enjoy your new El.
Me I think you made a great choce....I like ELKYs have had quite a few even a 64 as well as 64 chevelles but around here get used to it being called a EL Crapmino you know how Ford assholes can be...
yeah its been dropped a bit... i want the ass up a lil more, so ill play with the air shocks. its scary powerful
Love the Elky! My son bought a 67 last year that was in our neighborhood 15 years ago when we first moved here, it is a future project but for now its still a head turner!
Smart move for the money. Enjoy ! Rancheros usually got worked to death but a few were spared total abuse. Maybe you can sneak up on a nice one later and keep the Elky too.
