How about brushed aluminum? Those can look good too if you pick the right style.

I like the Chrome Magnum 500's. Have to admit that whitewalls don't appeal to me much.

If I went with the aluminum I'd probably go with the new 16" Aluminum rims on the '08 Crown Victoria...

No doubt we are all different with different opinons. I in fact do like raised white letters (wife hates them) and I like bushed aluminim. The combination of the two looks great on a lot of cars. I happen to really like the magnum 500 wheels with a raised white letter side wall. JMO take care Dan

Old-school slot mags, BFG Radial T/A, all you need to know about wheels and tires.

Ya'll know I hate to agree with BB, but I do in this case. I'm glad everbody doesn't like the old aluminum slotted mags because if they did I probably couldn't have afforded mine. They look just right on a 72 Ranchero.;)

Wonder what a set of Wheel Vintique Cruizer Alloys would look like on there ? Kinda' got the slot look, but similar to the old Haldbrands look. Ya'll can check them out in Jeg's on-line. I like em' with the three bar knockoffs. They look good on 90's Town Cars so they should look good on a Ranchero.

I liked what 75Squire had/did with his rims. Powdercoated black. Sorry guys, I like that look. Black rims with black walls, but with the chrome wheelwell trim, that might not look that great. I do think if I could powdercoat all my trim, bedrails, bumpers, etc., THAT would look good.
I wouldn't dare do anything to my original stuff, it'd have to be from a parts car. Oh well, just a thought.

Digg- Spinners? Is the sun gettin' to ya down there? :D

A 77-79 chero is that massiv from the sideview that it ought to have bigger rims, 18 maybe 20" and i think the "bullit" style is very nice, chrome or polished on the ones with the wheel well trim.:D

A Slab sided square body with a 302 and "menacing" in the same frame of reference does not compute. And Rob knows it.
