PLUS+ I`ll get to see Todds Ranchero in person next week...[/QUOTE] Dennis, I hope you aren't getting your hopes up seeing my "bucket of bolts".....err Ranchero . Talked to Grundy about insurance, hopefully I can at least drive the darn thing while you are visiting and/or before it grows roots into the garage floor, LOL. Todd
Thank you Robert, for the kind words. Your Ranchero is alot nicer than you lead people to believe AND you get to drive yours, unlike my "garage hound". Todd
Yours`ll get outta the Garage, Todd, But we dunno when, nor how much it`ll cost... Enjoy the journey, 66

See ya soon, 66
Dennis, Looking forward to meeting with you and your wife. Drive safe and enjoy the scenery. See ya when you get here. Todd
I got a few pics of Todds` Ranchero, But the pics just don`t do it justice!!! That is one beautiful car-truck when seen in real life!!! Hopefully your haggling with them insurance folks will come to a head soon and you can get them Thumbs Ups from folks whilst you`re driving around where you wanna go... Thank You fer your southern hospitality, Todd... Our detour only added an extra 30 miles and 30 minutes to our trip, it was well worth it, seeing your Ranchero!!! Thanks again, Ann&Dennis
No, Thank you, Dennis for taking time out of your trip and busy driving schedule to come by and see my "bucket of bolts". I really appreciate the kind words. It was nice to meet with you and your wife, Ann, as well as your traveling companion Bo. Todd
"It`s a Rainy Day in GA", so I Uploaded trip pics today... Here`s them new Wheels, I think you done good!!!!
It's not easy getting one of those hideous beasts to look good, but that guy has pulled it off. It is not only cool, it's a knockout.
Yes, in all seriosity, I would drive that thing every day and not change a dang thing (maybe adjust the hood). That is the perfect color for that style.
That's what I found odd about this picture!! I knew it was something. And I think this touch is sweet.
Like I said, "Pics just don`t do this Ranchero any justice!" Not a show vehicle, but, VERY Show worthy... Hillbilly said it, "they are all around, we just gotta get`em outta the woods and into the shows"......
I fergot the quotation marks.... Those are Todds words, "Not a show car" Sure wish I`d gotten pics of the engine compartment, you can eat off the valve covers, IF Todd`ll letchya... Yeah, he did not build it to show off, it is built to drive!!! THAT is the intended purpose of this car truck... YOU GO BOY!!!
Thank you guys, for the positive comments, it sure does feel good to read through them. Here are some pics of the engine compartment AND a closed hood . This pics shows the fresh-air opening under the hood scoop and shroud that surrounds the air cleaner. See.....it closes. Thanks again for all the positive comments, they really do make this forum member feel good about all the hard work and long hours involved to get my Ranchero in it's present condition, MUCH APPRECIATED. Todd
Dennis, Thank you for posting your pics of my ride. I know in one pic it looks like your wife isn't too happy, I guess the additional 2 1/2 to 3 hours left (or dozens of traffic lights) on your drive after leaving my location had something to do with it . You, your wife Ann and Bo are always welcome here. Thanks again, Todd
