Lubed up the bearings, now it REALLY spins:

Made a mock up of the ZZ logo to go on the fretboard, scanned it and sent it to my old sign shop to get printed in black & yellow. I also ordered a wireless system since I can't use a cord.

 

Here's the lo-tech way I found the balance point- a sausage stuffing tube. Beats math!

 

So cool. Just need a sweet ZZ Topp beard and you are all set.

 

If you zoom in on the original it looks like the zz goes over the top of the frets!
