Yes, I think they do. There are quite a few variations of their fuzzy guitars, and I think some are just for display, including the ones in the "Legs" video- they're for sure just fake playin' for the camera. The fuzzy ones they play in concert never have the logos. But for this build, playability be damned, I'm going for that look.

That's awesome Huevos; thanks. It occurs to me that after this pandemic passes, there may be a lot more interest in tele-everything since so many people are learning & using it now.

When I worked at FoMoCo Tractor, we would hang entire tractors from a crane to find their CG's, because one couldn't trust the skill of an engineer.

Q: Will it be a guitar, or a pillow? A: Both!

We love Playing For Change, have to check back to see what's new. We've had fun demonstrating it to visitors, asking them to figure out how it was done. Regarding a wifi (or bluetooth?) setup though, looks like they all used wired hookups in the link.

Finally some progress! I ordered some lacquer from amazon a while back, not noticing the delayed shipping due to the virus. UPS brought it today, so I threw on several coats of white lacquer in my "spray booth". The next step is fitting and attaching the sheepskin. If anyone has ideas about attaching a hide to painted wood, I'm all ears!

I was hoping you'd chime in Huevos. That's kind of a one shot placement deal though, right?
P.S.- did you get my photos?

Yes, you can reposition it if you let the glue set up properly, once you apply it, let it set until it doesn't stick to your finger, It should only sick to itself, brush thin on both sides, the wood and the hide.

Glued the sheepskin on the body today, using contact cement like Huevos suggested. I made a paper tracing of the body and the areas to be cut out, then flipped it over, positioned it on the pelt, and traced around it with a Sharpie. Then I cut out the holes where needed, slathered on the glue, let it get tacky (appropriate!), then set the body on the pelt. Applied my massive bulk to press it in place, then threw a buncha junk on it to weight it down.
