I was just having a bit of fun...I found a ranchero model in 3Ds format and was able to translate it into an object file and import it into my rendering program...I just threw in Izunami for fun...add a couple of filters and voila
problem is its not free!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! weatherstripping is like bodaciously expensive. I needed a guitar upgrade and since thats what brings in the Rancho parts it had to take priority I'm afraid. Tapped out dude. Weather was good this past weekend so i did drive it around on Saturday it was wonderful but still much to do. (Freaking acrylic tape for the door strip channels is $50) Sufferin' Succotash!!!
nope nothing is real except the background trees and the grass which were part of an HDRI i used to simulate lighting....I was thinking about doing a rusty version with the Ranchero US logo on it....if I get the time. Yeah....Love Izunami...one of my fave skinjobs.
wow that's AWESOME!!!...great looking finish! that's where mine always fall short. My main gig guitar is a nashville tele and it's in dire need of new frets.,..I've worn them down to a sine wave. I was just going to slap a standard replacement neck on there (21 fret ,9.5 radius....) but wondered about going to a 22 fret , 12 radius....so I wanted to try one out before committing. I was able to get a tele spec ibanez talman for the same money as a new neck and I'm trying it out to see if I thats the way I want to go. So far I'm really really liking this Ibanez. You'll have to excuse the sparkling vampire red color, I was going to go traditional tri burst but the wife insisted I get the sparkly one,
Sweet! Those colors look great together. I'm a big fan of Allparts necks; they make the necks for Fender Japan guitars, and the woodworking is fantastic. You can find real good deals on them from The Stratosphere or Arkansas Musicworks.
