    I don't know which trims are aluminum, chrome, or stainless.

    I asked the seller if they are aluminum, chrome, or stainless. He said he believes Ford used aluminum, and they have been polished but not chromed.

    Polishing aluminum destroys the protective anodization.
    Unless anodized again a polished aluminum piece will require regular polishing and sealing to look good, and even then will pit over time. OK for a trailer queen, but not a street car.

    just as a side note for others who may need the information... as all my bright work is original to the car.

    all my grill pieces, as well as front hood and fenders are/were chromed aluminum.

    two Drip rails, four wind shield, eight rear window, 2 middle bed rails, and tailgate pieces are all stainless

    front and rear bed ends are chromed pot metal.
