My goal since this site began, and FF's too I'm sure, was to bring the funnay, and we did, in droves. We could laugh at ourselves as much as we laughed at all ya'all. And then,.....and then......Well, we all know what happened next. Ain't take no rocket surgeon to see what happened. Political bantering and name calling happened. I am pleased to see so many here feel the same.

As much as l hate to agree with Sean l do, :D This place needs a sense of humour, It is very clinical now..
I say ban the troublemakers from posting [let them be able to watch but not post] for 6 months and see if they can behave then......

I don't think you can restrict like that, to be honest.

It works on sites over here, If you are a 'bad boy' you can read posts but not reply or p.m.
How do l know ??? my brother had it happen to him on the Ford transit site, AKA the 'tranny' site after he made some remarks about lesbian's

The admins here can do the same thing. I am not aware of them ever doing it though.
As I understand it the person ends up in "purgatory" where they can see everything, and post, but nobody sees their posts.
That kind of situation would be tough for the guys in this thread that continue complaining about what other people post.

Uhmmm ... people with no login can already see all content on the board. Banning from posting is all that would be necessary.

Banned people can see all the content on the board, unless they are profoundly computer illiterate.

So... With these horrific wildfires going Through California and with the lounge now gone there is no way on this site to support/help/keep in touch with members who might be affected by these fires ??
We always tried to back each other up through fires, earthquakes, hurricanes etc... And although l am not into religion dennis was always around to offer prayers to people affected,
It is so sad this site's support was taken away from people who might be affected having lost their homes etc.
I spent many years living in California and just want to say good luck to ALL people affected by the fires and my thoughts go out to them..
sorry this is off topic but Mods, ban me if you want...........

Huh ? Seems a bunch of us Ranchero nuts are also wagon crazys too. Just a lurker on the wagon forums here. 92, 93, 94, and 96 Buick Roadhogs and a 62 Rambler for a future project. Those huge looking longroof Buicks, Chevys, and Olds are an illusion = They are a full twelve inches shorter than a 93 Lincoln Town Car. But I still like them.
