One of the ideas I had cross the desert expanse that is the inside of my head would be to graft a modified wagon T/G to my Chero, in order to get the two-way opening feature.
It's the same tailgate. The Ranchero's is without glass, and with a top cover plate that is under the stainless cap.
Here's a great idea for Dan the Ranchero Man- Graft in a wagon-style gate onto a Chero, then mold a topper with a seal on the back that would mate with the glass, so rather than flipping up the topper lid, you could just roll down the tailgate glass. I know, I'm pretty smart.
That's a slick idea. All you need is to find a complete wagon setup and install it with the Ranchero cap instead of the glass. Buick wagon is like that, Wonder if anyone has built a Roadhog Ranchero ? Neat idea John, I'd want the powered window back there.
Hardly his idea, because I've seen it done. He has too, I'm sure. He is, as usual, trying to take credit when none is due.
I knew a guy named Jay Mellis. We actually called him Jealous Mellis, so I sort of beat you to that as well. Keep trying, though, sport.
68-9 with swing gate......nice rig http://www.talladegaspoilerregistry.com/2014/12/03/talladega-and-spoiler-ii-rancheros/
Hey hillbilly. went to charlotte nc to pick up a 67 chevelle for my brother at Rk motors. got in the show room and there was a 70 king cobra. how cool that was. $500,000 price tag yow!!!!!
Yeah, the lounge was good, not for the faint of heart, but still good. Wish I could dig up my pics of Dad's other Ranchero. Changed computers and still can't find the good stuff I have saved.
It seems the 'site feedback' is the new lounge, l haven't got a bollocking yet, that could change in a heartbeat though
