My buddy's building a 1954 VW ragtop show Bug, and no expense is spared. Pearl paint, air bagged, 4 wheel disc brakes, flip out front & rear windows, and a 2332 motor with dual Dell'Ortos and a Porsche fan shroud. I helped him hang the hood, doors and deck lid today.

Every time I see a VeeWee, I always remember our '66 Cabrio we had when I was a kid. If you don't already know the story, it was nine years old, and my big brother Fred made a left turn on a yellow turning red light, and got clobbered by a 4WD pickup. Since Dad was retired from the Navy, and didn't yet have a job, he and Mom decided to sell it for the money.

I'm surprised the trunk still has the VW& Wolfsburg badging and the trim chrome, but they removed the turn signals from the fenders.

That’s one nice looking VW . Very interesting wheels . A combination of steel and alloy? Lots of great work done .
