Recently I request an admin to change my email address from (gmail) the one which my account was successfully set up with to the current (hotmail) which does not receive notifications. When I originally set up this account, I tried to use the hotmail address but despite my attempts, I never received the verification email on that account. I switched to the gmail account and received the verification email and subsequent notifications. I've verified that @ranchero.us and @gold.webpagehost.org were both on the safe list. Added email@example.com as well. I also made sure that none of the above are on a block or junkmail list. Has anyone else had this problem and solved it? If so, I'd like to know what was done. I can switch back to the gmail account, but I rarely check it and almost never use it. I could also set up the forwarding feature...but I'd really just rather find out what's preventing emails from reaching my hotmail account.
