Well, I wont be camping so I guess I have to arrive before the sun rises. That isn't a problem for me. Linda loves Ellijay so that is our likely place to stay, which works well because I love driving the car and that will allow for additional driving.

I've been to some of the biggest cities, all over this country; Chicago, Detroit, Atlanta, Northern VA, OKC, Miami, Seattle, Portland, LA, The Bay, etc, I can say, without hesitation, that San Fran was the worst, followed by LA. Like Carl said, traffic in the Bay is horrible, 18 hours a day. The other places you can find a few hours where it's decent. I have no idea why people out there want to live in their cars, but they seem to.

Listening to the morning traffic report in San Fran was funny. 'Car on fire on such and such bridge. All lanes blocked'....'Three car accident, with fatalities, on the whatever freeway. Expect long delays'......'Pedestrian killed on the whatsit called bypass. All vehicles detoured to the whatever freeway...which is backed up 6 miles for some stupid reason'.....and on and on. It was whole years worth of Charlottesville traffic in an hour.

And the new "Roundabout" they`re installing on GA 49N of Americus @ the SWGA Tech Parkway intersection is Gonna Be ""One To Watch""
Folks here don`t know nothing about no "Roundabout"...
4 yeilod signs?? What do I do???
I think I`ll go spend a day watching, once they get done with it...

Ellajay is a "Happening Town" when Apples are in season...
Dawsonville is a HAPPENING Town Too, when the Moonshine Fest is Happening...

I love them mountains, Love camping with the Locals there & I love hosting our Ranchero Roundup in Dawsonville...
Mark your calendar, Plan to attend,
    You are invited,

We used to get one in particular - rte 22 in new jersey. Every morning rush hour was something else. Two memorable ones were a spilled load of cement blocks on a traffic circle (see roundabout above) in Springfield. The other was same circle, burning sporting goods store, cooking off ammunition.

About that, yeah. WOOT! I have a coolant leak to solve in the meantime. Looks like an intake gasket set will take care of it.
