I Like it!!!
1972 brochures finally up
Saw this was added for us fish-mouths.
I bought the classic brochure for my 1970 GT (For all Rancheros that year); it is awesome and well worth the $7 I paid for it from Macs Restorations.
I own ones for all the 77-79 years. Including the dealership and all of the different advertising ads. All of them are pretty dang cool if you ask me.
I think i might have that '72 one! ....i collect old car brochures from the mid 60's till the late 70's (American cars only)...have hundreds of them, i love just browsing through them every now them.
I believe I have two of which one I took apart and put in RED's photo album, I also have the manual that goes in the glove box
The 71 Special Ranchero is just like my original 71 I had in high school! These are the pics in the folder listed:
Here is another one I have found:
This is a picture of mine taken around 1974...pretty faded
I had to pick up a 79 brochure for my Ranchero on ebay before I even got the car home! They are way too cool to look at. Added it to my complete collection of Thunderbird brochures..
When I get a chance I will have to scan the 79 brochure and see if I can add it to that site.
i have the one for for my '76....and looking at the cover i just CANNOT understand who they were trying to appeal to....? Little old fellah wearing a dinner jacket and an ascot in front of his Ranch house? Should have pushed the...its a Car, its a truck...its a muscle Cruck angle ...might have appealed to a younger crowd.
I just bought the one for my 72
Somewhere, I have the printed pages I had downloaded to my old desktop that bit the dust. I should go back on that website, see if the 1979 brochure was uploaded.
