Now you are counting it off as "data". I will leave you with a scenario. We are in two totally different places but same scenario on different days . I am on my bike . You in your car with your daughters. We are both doing the speed limit which is 40 miles an hour down a winding country road. Flat bed truck pulls out in a blind corner neither of us have time to brake and T-bone the flat bed. Same devastating results. You and your daughters are decapitated by roof being sheered off. I too am decapitated by hitting the flat bed at neck level. So you would say according to your original post that this is our fault. How would you like it if I was to say that all car and truck accidents are always the car drivers fault even if it isn't, after all that is what you said about bikers in your original post. Maybe you should send your original post to the family of this man that is lying in the hospital and see what they think of it. First of all, your scenario is not likely to happen; not saying it won’t or hasn’t, just saying not very likely. What happens about 100,000 times more often than your fairy story is a car pulling out in front of a car, or a motorcycle. My daughters and I have a far better chance of surviving that, with the airbags and crumple zones, than you do on your motorcycle. Please go ahead and dispute that. Or make up another unrealistic scenario. Maybe one involving UFO’s and Area 51. Secondly; Assuming you understand that motorcycles are inherently more dangerous to operate on the road than cars (which I’m not sure you do), would you not understand that your chances of being hurt/killed are a hell of a lot higher? Hopefully you would then realize that every time you go out for a ride you run a far greater risk of ending up dead? And if you end up dead, knowing how dangerous what were doing was, would you not accept some of the blame? I’ll bet the family of the guy in the hospital wishes he had never bought that bike, and hope he never rides again. Do you think I’m wrong here? I do have compassion for uncontrollable circumstances. Being hurt in a motorcycle accident is very controllable. Believe me, I get sick of seeing dead peoples pictures in car crashes and thinking of what their families are going through. My daughters friend died when a semi ran a red light and t-boned her car this past spring. That is uncontrollable and I felt horrible, so I don’t need or want your prayers. You really need to lighten up here.

Sorry For Your Loss! Sorry to here that and hope everyone is getting through the greiving process ok. I just hate when our fellow brothers and sisters get taken out by someone who is not paying attention. I am sure SEAN will say it was his fault, as he always thinks it is the Bikers fault no mater what.
Well, he would probably be alive if he were in a car. Like my buddy Rick, who ran his snowmobile into some trees at 90mph and died many years ago. That must have been the fault of the stupid trees.
hey top notch , the guy that crashed is in a club too. i cant remember what its called but i think its initials are H.A. dont be so quick to jump to his defence as he is 100 percent responsible for what happened and is doing fine without this argument taking place. sean thanks for the comments. ff thanks for the reality check . top notch and as is 66 thanks for the prayers although in this guys case i think you may be talking to the wrong deity. all in all his family apreciates it all and we are going to run a raffle to help pay for the damage to the car as he was not insured at the time as his bike was not registered for road use. he is gonna be out of pocket by at least 50 grand and has to take out a second mortgage to pay for it. we all cant wait for him to get better so we can k111 him for puting us through all this. it was totally avoidable. stupid fiesta driving trees
