I need to remove the paint off some aluminum ladder guards. I would think a spray can or quart would do it. Any recommendations on what product works well?

From what I read, all chemical paint removers without methyl chloride (now banned) are all sorry.

Finally got the stuff from Aircraft Spruce. This is aircraft paint stripper. The stuff works reasonable well with multiple coats on the stubborn parts.

This does make me wonder what was used back in 2012 when my body shop chemically stripped the paint off my '75 GT. Jeff, the body man, must have used gallons of the good stuff.
