My buddy pmrphil is a newbie at uploading pics, so I'm helping him out to share his recent road trip adventure; he'll fill in the details soon. Looks like he was traveling in style, and hit some iconic American sites:
It's ok to tell everyone that I am clueless with a computer - it's not a lie 6,500 mile trip to go and see some of the great northwest - The Dakotas were awesome, as was Rushmore, Yellowstone with the geysers are something if you ever get to see in person, you will NEVER forget it. Then on to Glacier National Park in northwest Montana (that's where the tunnels through the granite are) - quite the ride from Connecticut - then across the top of the country on Route 2, the Upper peninsula of Michigan, then straight down to Toledo (couldn't stop in Dearborn - had a death in the family) got on 90 toward Buffalo then on home. Absolutely fabulous trip!! The wife says next year, southwest. Mr. Beerbelly, we were planning to come out your way when we got the call about my aunt - next time maybe. My good friend Jason isn't too far from you (Vancouver) and we were going to stop there for a couple days so coming to visit you was on the radar. We're not done traveling.
