A friend of mine was in Vegas this past weekend and saw this car. Evidently, it's a one-of-a-kind prototype made by Pontiac called an El Catalina. He said the car was absolutely pristine.
They actually made two, that one is the lone survivor and with a 389 under the hood it's a shame that they didn't put them into production, I like it.
Nice-looking classic. I really like the upside-down Nike swoosh on the side. Think we have it bad at car shows? I can hear it now: "Nope, not an El Camino. You're close, but guess again. Nope, not a Ranchero. You're getting cooler. Guess again …" Joseph
