Since you haven't sent me any bunny batteries how would I know? And the last I saw of him the aliens took him away...
hmm according to Wiki..dunno how accurate.. The Ford Festiva was a subcompact car sold by the Ford Motor Company in North America, Asia and Australasia, introduced in 1986 in Japan. The car was manufactured by South Korean automaker Kia, which at the time was part-owned by Ford, and was based on the Kia Pride. It was based on the Mazda DA platform, using Mazda's B Series engines. In later models fuel injection was used.
ah..found something that may be useful to you FF ..go to this website.... http://www.troublecodes.net/ on the drop down menus..there is one for trouble codes...you can pick ford..or kia or mazda... compare the connector types to what you have.... and then you'll know for sure..it also gives you some pointers about accessing the codes without a scanner....which is possible on obd1... i did it on my old 2nd gen probe i had.. obd2 REQUIRES a scanner..
Worked with a guy at McDonalds who thought the Festiva was a sexy chick magnet, they were new at the time. He was a little odd and his nickname was pickle As for the SF thing, just the first thing that popped in my head, but yes I am missing a few pieces. I did drive a maroon with a gray sport stripe on it for a bit, my brother said I looked like Magilla Gorilla driving it.
As for Pud, I have been kicking around a few ideas about how to 'customize' it. I am basing the ideas on the fact that Pud is white. Feel free to add ideas: 1.) Paint a yellow egg yolk on the hood, with some eggshells painted down the sides. Call it Pud Egg. 2.) Paint a Stay Puft logo on the hood. The Pud-Mallow. 2.) Paint a big eyeball on the hood, or a big Mac Apple logo. Call it iPud. 3.) Mix a little gray swirl in the paint and put a big lightning bolt on it somewhere. A Severe Weather Pud. 4.) Paint a baked potato skin on the sides and a pat of butter on the hood. Potato-Pud.
Oh man! PU... Here's another obvious one... What is its' favorite beer? Heck actually that could be another paint scheme idea. A big beer label with Pudweiser for the name. Maybe Pud Light since it's so small.
All of mine aren't fit to display on our family oriented site here... Just remember, if you wash your "Pud" more than once you're playing with it... Just for the record, and we'll keep the actual wording to ourselves, but HR and I exchanged PM's about this earlier... We can hear it coming all the way out here in VA and GA...
paint a big brown circle on one side..and stick a ratty tail on it and it could be "Puds McKenzie" or is that a reach ??
Probably needs an engine and a few thousand other minor repairs You would have just been better off filling up the Dodge Just teasing Bud
FF (or anyone else), those customizing ideasreminded me of a question that I've been meaning to ask. In this area I see lots of "customized" Crown Vics with big wheels and new paint jobs, but they are painted to represent a snack food. I've seen one painted "Almond Joy", one "M&M", and one "Rice Krispy Treat". Can anyone tell me what that's about?
