Pud's the name I gave the Festiva, which is a car. I don't see where gender comes into play but hey, everyone can play!

OK..............I GIVE IN !!!!!!!!!! This Brit is now totally, utterly and completely lost..........
To say we're supposed to speak the same language, I'm confused.................
    HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cars should always be referred to as female, just like boats and ships............ they need careful gentle handling, take vast amounts of money to keep them happy, and if you're too rough they bite you!!!!!!! therefore they must be female!!!

You can sure tell Carl loves his cars. But since my wife calls me almost all of those things, they still count. Sorry man.

Ah well............ each to their own, I guess it has to be female if you love and cherish your car/truck................
Got to admit my work van is affectionately known as b@*tard, cos it's a japanese p.o.s., it's got no soul at all, so the name fits!

See, now that's funny. We can always count on you to crack wise! Naming isn't really gender specific over here Tony. At least, not as a rule. It's a free for all. We have Pud, Rocky, Red, RatChero, Hunnie (homo alert), Junk Pyl, Rusty, Tripper, Sally, you name it. Whatever sails your ship.

I like the name I have for my Chero, short and to the point............"Blue" not very imaginative I know, but I saw a film donkeys years ago called Blue Fire Lady, and I've always liked that name, but it's a bit over the top for a truck.............

Nah, not if you're a head on flaming fairy pants. Then it would only be fitting.

Well I call my subaru Scooby..... hehehehe so fitting too.... and the green ford is Grouch.... because its grumpy like the owner... and this board actually named my Ranchero.... to be exact it was Kim, remember her???? Need a Ranchero... she started calling it RED after she found out I chose the Ranch over a ruby ring. I've pretty much always called it the Ranch... Klaus says its because we bought the farm with this one.. heheheh okay whatever... but RED acquired its name on this board.... so ya'll know...

WTH is she talking about? Turtle? That's why man jokes should be left to men.
Why do men usually die long before their wives? Because they want too.

Now now Sean............... be nice, Blue Fire Lady was a race horse, a no hoper who was nursed back to health to become a winner.
I thought you of all people would have known the phrase "donkeys years", after all it is of Irish origin. A donkey year is meant to be longer than a human one.............

I was born in Detroit, not Dublin. The only thing I know about donkey's is that they can talk, and when they do they sound like Eddie Murphy. What do you take me for, an ass? Ba-da- bing!

Funny that, I always thought they sounded like poor depressed Eeyore off Winnie the Pooh, till I saw Shrek........................
