I made up a few of these for a thank you and my own entertainment. Then I started wondering if I could move some on eBay or ? The script is a copy of a fender badge for '70, printed on both sides of the mug with the side molding as an accent in silver. What do you guys think? DSCN0613sm.jpg

You could post them for sale here first.
Figure that, over time, you will probably sell 3-5 on ebay for every one you sell here.
Unless, of course, Elon Musk or the like gets spotted with one in his hand. If that happens you will sell a million in 3 days.

I love it, but copyright stuff may get you jammed up.

Very true. However, I doubt Ford would send the hounds (lawyers) after a guy who sold 12 coffee mugs.
You could get with the guy who came up with these shirts, and see if he'd let you use this design.

Thanks for your comments. I wondered about the trademark issue too and rationalize it this way. Ranchero is not in production at the moment, so they would need a reason to object to it's use. I have not mentioned or shown a blue oval in any way. If I were to do
Mustang mugs or logos, then we would have something to talk about. They license the heck out of that stuff.

Have you guys ever heard of 'the internet'. With a quick search, one can find numerous places that will customize a mug, glass, ashtray, what have you. You can get your very own Ranchero.us mug for anywhere between $8.50 and $20.

If by work you mean typing a few words and then uploading a photo, then yes, I worked my ass off.

That's what I said. Seriously, though, I'm betting Billy, and this site, would much rather you guys donate $20 each, than sell coffee mugs at a $5 profit. A lot of time and effort is tied into this stuff. Ordering and paying for the mugs, shipping costs to whoever is in charge, boxing up the mugs, carefully, and then paying shipping costs to the final destination. Just buy one yourself, send Ranchero.us $15 via Paypal, and everyone is better off.
