Well I work at a college and the only time we really work on weekends is when there is a big happy face type event so its not about convincing my boss, but more so the president of the college or the trustees, which I've never had good luck persuading for anything. I dont think anything will be going on that weekend since we should be on spring break, but you never know with some of these people. I'll post if something comes up.

Well peoples I have been speaking with Fullerton Parks and Recreation for almost three days now, and today I was told that Hillcrest park has two large functions being held the weekend of March 17th.
The park is on 40 acres, but parking is very limited, so he suggested we move our meeting over to Independence park<very close to Hillcrest park>
The kicker here is they "might" have a swim meet that weekend, so we are on hold for a day or two until he checks the schedule for that park.
He also mentioned a permit of $12.00 per hour<for 4 hours its only $36.00 as they give you time for set up and clean up>
I checked this park and for our needs its fine, but we wont know until he calls me back after checking the schedule. I asked him what if we just showed up at Hillcrest park, and even though they cant kick us out, it would just be a pain in the arse.
So hold on until I hear back from him, or I find another location.

I'd be up for it! I missed the meets BRC hosted last year; it seemed every time he planned one I had something else going on I couldn't get out of.

This doesn't have to be a formal thing, a VW group I hang around with does a monthly breakfast at a local diner. Some months there are two people there in their daily drivers other months there will be twenty people and cars there.

I'd be interested depending on location and date. Almost certain I wont have the 67 running so I'd be in my mustang.

I could meet up just about any where. Is there a place where a group of car guys meet up in the morning. We have the doughnut derelicts here. Non formal get together with just about every kind of old car.

That's funny, we have the same thing at a small donut shop in Huntington Beach down here. I've never been to it though now that my 'Chero is running better I may make it down there sometime.

Maybe we'll plan something for next month, an informal breakfast or something like that unless someone has any other ideas.

That would be fine with me. Some where in the 9:30 range when it is planned? I have about a 2 1/2 drive to get down there

Sounds like we may be able to get a few guys together for this. L.A. or O.C. is all ok with me though. I am always up for a road trip. I will be down that way for the winter nationals the 15th.
