    How do you guys deal with weather below 65 degrees?..Its just not civilized...;)

    Did anyone call it an El Camino/El Rancho/El Ranchero/Ranchamino?

    Went to the PNW Falcon mini-regional at the end of August. A couple of nice Rancheros and one with a Comet front end.

    That Comet Ranchero is actually very cool. It has a bit of Lincoln Continental grille styling I like.

    I thought it was too. I like the Comet front end and hadn't seen it on a Ranchero body before.

    That looks like a cut down wagon, rather than a Ranchero, at least to my eye.

    My understanding is it was truly a Ranchero that had the Comet Caliente front end swapped on to it. It was pretty cool and I didn't see any indications this was a cut down wagon. Really it makes sense - I see folks swapping 67 Fairlane front end sheet metal onto 66 Falcons and Rancheros. No reason it can't be done with the 64/65 Comets/Falcons/Rancheros as they are essentially the same vehicle.
