A 73 with the opposite of a bumper tuck. Love that.
The pic on the top left shows why these are not to have heavy loads, looks like a female dog squatting to pee.
the PYL hauled 2600 lbs from Salinas to Turlock and around 1/2 that back
Would have been cool if they beefed up the rear end with a dually axle and fat fenders. I guess they must have beefed up the rear of the frame though to mount that towing gear .
atleast it was able to tow , unlike a unibody having laid down flat like a dog in heat
What's the load capacity for a '73? I always figured my '64 had a capacity of ~500 lbs. At the most, I think maybe I've hit 1/10th of that (grocery store).
Didn't the axle snap in half though?
When the wife needs dirt for her garden, the wife gets dirt for her garden....
Is that a leg I see sticking out?
It's fertilizer. Yeah, that's the ticket.
not till a few months later
Interestingly. it wasn't the load over the axles that was the issue. It was the load over the driver's seat.
Wrong side for that - and why you gotta pick on Carl? He's good people and doesn't deserve your cheap shots... even in jest. Geeeez!
Really, no cheap shots in here that I've ever seen... Any one have an oversized burrito, I'm hungry.
Carl knows it's just ribbin'
Passenger side axle Moron
Hey man, I don't even try to think about your weight distribution.
Dunno about y'all but it looks like there is about a foot ish of bed missing on that Towchero
