I just saw White Line Fever.
It is more of a downer than most Trucker as Cowboy movies.
The goons, led by Martin Kove, drive a 74 Squire.
It is interesting to see the vinyl top on the Squire. I suspect my car was similarly equipped since it has the chome molding that goes at the bottom of the room that separates the vinyl area.
There are other late model Fords, like a wood grain Country Squire and a Thunderbird driven by Slim Pickins in the movie and the semi's are more often than not Fords also.

Oddly, no one used the CB Radio until the end , and then the hero uses it to talk to the crooked cop to instruct him to tell the Organization that he's coming for them.
The villains are afraid the hero will start a union for the truck drivers they are exploiting. They seem to have not heard of the Teamsters.

Oh, they had, what they were after was all the non-company owner-operators, which JMV's character prepped.

Not the movies but late night TV, lot's of neat Fords on "Cannon" and "Barnaby Jones". Looks like Chrysler sponsored "Mannix".

I've been bingeing ADAM-12 the last few weeks, sooooooo many cars and trucks you wished could've survived the decades. I've even spotted a couple Falcon Cheros.

Samaritan with Stallone is an average movie, but it is nice to see a 72 Ranchero and Torino.

Oh, yeah, I think a production weenie or mechanic is an intermediate Ford owner.

What year Ranchero did they crush in "Waco". It is on Netflix. It's about David Koresch and the Branch Davidian cult.
