Carl, You wrote in a post that you went with air bags. Is there a brand that is made for the Ranchero specifically or is it a universal fitsall sometimes type? Also did you go for the compressor or the gas station air hose fillemup type? Thanks.

Firestone 2600lb bags in rear I built my own mounts. Pretty easy just some cups with some flat plates. I think Air Ride Pro is making kits for Rancheros.

I am using the A/C compresser and Twin 3 gal tanks mounted in the cubby holes behind the rear seat

5.0 Chero, you kept the shocks while having air bags. I thought he air bags replaced the shocks and gave you a smoother ride. Are the shocks optional or required with the air bags?

Yes you need shocks! there are bag over shock combos but you do not need them for the rear its easy to mount the bag in place of the coil. Up front where the shock runs thru the coil you have to move the shock out board or run the bag/overs.
