I dunno about putting a cat there purposefully, but my bro Geoff was awakened once to one of our cats playing by his tuchas; to his horror, he realized a mouse had gone up the back side of his trousers, and it had stopped between the cheeks! So Geoff clenched, as hard as he could, and shooed the cat away, and about 15 minutes later, he stood up off the bed, unclenched, and a triangular-shaped dead mouse fell down his trouser leg.

I always wondered where Richard Gere got that crazy idea.

Looks like we've veered off topic yet again, although "rear" and "vent" are still being discussed...

The copper washer/thread sealant worked great; zero leaks now. Thanks John & Phil.
