Here is a link to this years car show. The 9th one was supposed to be last one 2018. Supposedly The King wanted to do it so it is back . Always a good show quality and quantity of cars. http://www.ridgelycarshow.com/
Well had a good time at show. Worked some long hours helping out. Highlights gave a ride to Christi Lee also to Sheriff Mark Lamb and his wife. Relax it was in a golf cart! LOL. That was Saturday night. Then Sunday was back on site and helped park show cars from 5:30 am until about 1pm all told about 730 cars registered for show. ended up to tired /wore out to get a lot of pics. Did tell one ranchero owner about the site, he had just bought the last year made ranchero and didn't know about this site. Also got some pics of a Valiant UTE right hand drive car. Owner stated only about 3 of them stateside I didn't know they even existed. Will slowly get some pics in here of what i took.
Dyno, looks like you have a soft spot for Mopars too. You might like to check out a friend's little museum down in Alabama, he has a great collection. Trying to convince Tim that he needs to diversify a bit and display our Thunderbolt and long nose cars along side his Mopars. ( http://www.welbornmusclecarmuseum.com ) Last time I saw the Marty Robbins car was years ago at Sterlin Marlin's house when he was holding a tribute party for his dad Coo Coo.
Hillbilly I enjoy the Mopars don't have the issue with them I have with the little boy cars. More of a challenge to build them up. Ford is what I go for first then the Chrysler's. Still I enjoy a well built car whatever it is and give credit. This show is heavy on the Mopars. The King always brings a special car from the collection this year was the Marty car, sounded really good running. Will get a chance to check museum out. Didn't remember to ask Linda the question she was a very busy lady and voice was hoarse.
OK here's a pic that came to me from old boss/driver. Reason I found out about this show. Pick out the "real Moonshiner".
