    Wifes car.
The current one is an Isuzu that was assembled in Canada with a bowtie on it. I draw the line with that one, as all the newer ones are Chinese.
As far as I know, the Mustang is the only American made car, other than that you have to buy a truck or SUV. The other Ford (Focus?) is Chinese.

Agreed, but better make sure it can't short out if the key is accidentally turned on when coil is grounded.

I would have a hood lock just to keep the battery from being stolen...modern cars all have hood releases inside the car...makes our cars targets for battery give-aways.

If you mean 'American made car' being one made by an American based OE, that's probably right. But Hyundai, Honda and Toyota build cars here in the states, which is pretty damn sad.

And my sister could steal a Cavalier. Big deal o_O

My first brand new car was a 1993 Cavalier. Boy was I styling. I was also young and stupid, and couldn't really do better as far as affording a brand new car. I washed it twice in the first week and then probably only once a season because lazy always wins.

My point wasn't that Chevys, Cavaliers especially, are hard to steal, I suspect most of them have security designed by repossessers. Just that if you know how any security system is put together, bypassing it is easy. I work with access control systems all the time, and the expensive stuff you see at buildings and parking areas is also very easy to bypass if you know how it works.

That is just great Ribald! It's going out to all my beer-drinking buddies. A lot easier than those images you had to stare at in the malls years ago...

If you don't see it, your man card may need to come up for review.
Wash your glasses and look at it again.

    You're welcome!
By images you had to stare at in the malls, I haven't been in a mall in probably 15 or more years and all I saw worth staring at were the women walking around dressed as they are fond of doing here in sunny CA.

Does this mean we won't see you at the mall in your Daisey Dukes?
