I've had this little wet/dry Shop Vac brand for a few years, but I need to upgrade to something with more capacity, and especially a longer, more flexible hose. The hose on this one is all plastic, and in cold weather it doesn't want to bend; I'm always fighting it.

What can you guys recommend as a decent one?

Anybody have a wall mount vac? I'm liking the idea, since my garage is small without a lot of floor storage space.

Maybe he should have put it into the "Joke of the Day" thread.

On the Shop Vac question, I have the same problem you do: no room! My solution is to buy a broom instead, because that takes up a lot less storage room.

Got the broom & dustpan, but they just don't work to pick up the badly needed loose change under the seat, or the salt on the carpet from Bonneville.

Well, it does have one thing going for it- "quite operating", versus the "not-quite operating" albeit lower-cost option. Gee, do you suppose it's made/marketed in China??

"This 16 Gallon stainless steel vacuum features our SVX2 motor which is quite operating and better performing than our standard 6.5 peak HP".

Sorry, ex-sign guy; spelling is everything. Enjoy the repartee though...
