    One of those Rancheros was seen in person back in 1994 minus the engine and transmission with the body looking rough at Spicnal's Pontiac, Buick, GMC dealership in Akron, Colorado. It had a "C" in the VIN, not a "J" denoting it as a hydraulic lifter Quadrajet carb 429 CJ. I passed on it because the main parts were missing and couldn't be located. Went back in 1995 and it was gone, nobody seemed to even remember it a year later. Crusher bait is my guess on it's fate.
