Found a brand new one for sale for my car locally.
Since I have to replace mine anyway, was thinking that it might be easier to do this instead of removing the one off the other Ranchero.
But that is the only pro I see.
    Thanks,
    Russ

    Your lucky.
I want to find a sliding rear window for my 76 Ranchero 500.
I love the sliders it gives you more air when you own a non A/C Ranchero

    Price and location?
That will factor my interest level
The further away from South Jersey you are the more shipping will cost.
It will have to be packed really good wrapped in bubble wrap in thick cardboard box amd marked

Price is fine, just don't know the best way to ship.
You have Fastenal store near you?
Might have to try that as UPS or Fed Ex be through the roof and too big for US Mail

    08322 Franklinville,NJ is my zipcode
but there is a Fastenal store in Vineland not far from me.
You would have to wrap it up good then box it in heavy cardboard then take to Fastenal for shipping quote

First of all there is no way that is correct shipping price as the US Mail charges by box size dimensions.
No way can glass be shipped unless it is wrapped well in Bubble wrap then boxed in a heavy cardboard box.The box has to be bigger then the actual glass assembly to allow room for the packing material.

There is no dimensions in that quote to suggest it's an accurate shipping quote

USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate has to be shipped in their Flat Rate boxes and they don't have a Flat Rate box big enough.
Try again it has to be wrapped up good then find a box big enough to ship it in.
Might take 2 boxes tapped together with clear shipping tape to make a box big enough unless you have a body shop near you you can get big parts boxes from.
The size is more important then the weight when shipping these days

I shipped an F150 fan shroud back in July; it barely met their measurement rules by a few inches, IIRC, and that window would be too long.

You show me photos and no box or dimensions on shipping quote and it says Flat Rate and I know for fact they don't have a Flat Rate box that big.
I just don't want to be told later after I pay for it that its gonna cost another $60-100 shipping as at that point I might as well have bought the new one

That's what I figured too as US Mail has a size limit and had to go to UPS or Fed Ex for a 72 Valance but I'm the one being called an Ass here for wanting an accurate shipping quote with box dimensions included in the quote.
Not my first rodeo with shipping as been selling parts for years
