Cooked up hot links and burgers on the grill last night.
It was 72 at 6PM
70's all week, finally. I had to bring out the space heaters for the basement the past few days. I don't want to build another fire until next year. I cleaned out the wood box already.
Still in the Low 30s but supposed to be 62 Thursday and then back to the 40s again.
You can probably copy the above and use it again in July.
It's been averaging about 10 degrees below normal here since mid-February. Every day I listen to the 5-day forecast and every day it says normal or warmer temps in 4 days. But 4 days from now never gets here - -
At least it's warm enough to work outside comfortably (e.g. above 40).
Spring #2 finally hits southern Minnesota, WOO-HOO!!!!
We've hit 100 degrees here a couple days in the past 2 weeks! March?? 15 to 20 degrees above normal. Coming up, a week of near-normal, around 60 and 80 daily. Nice timing for my Nephew flying out next Tuesday from Kansas! mo.
Phoenix and El Paso are the two worst places work has sent me, no offense MO. And I'm talking having been sent to places like Cleveland, Helena, Omaha, Kansas City, etc. El Paso was the worst (Cattleman's in Fabens is soooooooo overrated), and Phoenix was second. Reason was the same. Hot, dry, miserable, only green was in public and touristy places. Dusty ass ovens, both of them.
Geez, way to rip on a guys house. However, you come from the anus of this country, or at least near the taint, so your comment must have some validity.
Yes, well, I'm off onto the cheek a bit. The anus, Ferguson, is about 40 miles away. Nonetheless I do have ample knowledge of what I speak. Ferguson, anus. El Paso and Phoenix, sackmates.
Well, let me be the first to apologize to you. I made an honest mistake. With the prevailing winds coming out of the west, do you have to deal with the Ferguson smell, much?
No, but the Bridgeton landfill is unbearable when I have to drive in to the airport.
I recall the several trips to the Bay area last tear. Weather and sights were awesome. Earthquake was a great once in a lifetime thing. Only real issue was the idiot driver took a wrong turn and brought us across the bay bridge into Oakland. Talk about scary! Fortunately, we got right back on the highway and back to the safe side of the bay.
And thus, you reside in MO! Just wondering if you have ever been in some desert area in December or January, say, and watched them harvest melons, or citrus fruits. Asked how hot it gets where we are now, I tell them two months out of the year, hot as hell, three others, hotter than hell, the remainder acceptable. mo.
I have been, El Paso was in December then June. Just average miserable in December, but already ungodly in June.
El Paso is indeed a sewer, no matter how you view it, agreed! I travelled there frequently for Sears to service their store in the miserable place. Only thing good about that store was it's location: close to the airport! mo.
There was an Alice Cooper concert the weekend in June I was there, but of course work prevented me from going. Work, and common sense anyway.
We have thunderstorms and hail coming early next week.
It never rains in California, it pours.
Looks like the BBQ is shut down for a while.
Others may have people die during their storms, but here, not being able to grill is about as bad as it gets.
Just have to wonder if you boys ever shopped at the Naked Harem in ElPaso ? They did have great air conditioning. City decided they wanted that property and the rest is history. Do a search for ( Phyllys Woodall / ElPaso ) to see what happens when ya don't pay the graft they ask for.
Why have you excluded East St. Louis, the perineum of the Midwest? mo.
"Naked Harem in ElPaso ? They did have great air conditioning"
Well, geezo, wouldn't they have had to have really good air conditioning, if ever'body around was nekkid?? mo.
