Sorry, but I must have got post's mixed up, but I am sure you have a hot wife, a hot car and a hot house (living in Arizona). For some reason I getting dyslexic in my older age. And I find myself typing in care instead of car. Most be some type of Freudian slip or something. Honestly I thought the word processing program was changing car to care. Then I realized I was typing in care. Not sure what this means, I don't want to end up in a care center. j . PS, TOTALLY RELATE to bosses breathin over your back. Problem is they think they know what it is to work in the trenches, but they DON'T. Presently working with a bit of nepotism on top of the corporate bull, it is a real struggle to go to work somedays. Same old story, they want you to do more with less.
Interesting as you get into it and find out what fire departments think of solar installations. http://www.breitbart.com/london/201...start-fire-at-green-party-run-hove-town-hall/
Yeah Max, it's probably best that people don't think of such things as how the fire department feels about putting water on live, high voltage electrical systems, considering that they can't turn off a solar system except by waiting until the sun goes down then saving what is left of the house. If anything.
Adapt to spraying water on live electrical systems. Now THAT is a hoot! Why don't you get out there and show them how it is done? Just make sure it gets on film for us here. Heck, as a bonus, I will submit your attempt to 'adapt' for a Darwin award.
i guess you could throw dirt on a roof fire. i know your home owners insurance company also wants to know what solar system you have in case of fires. some companies will not cover certain installations.
The technique of letting them burn themselves out while protecting the neighboring homes has worked well to date. It ain't broke, so why fix it?
The primary objective of any fire department is to ensure lives aren't lost. Property has always come in second to that objective.
