Most of us put blood and sweat in our projects but Dennis is using body parts. Did you bleed blue? Good to have you back and hear you are repairable.
Thank you again prayer lifters... It`ll ba A long row to hoe but a full recovery is expected...(or at least back to the previous busted up condition I was in) Prolly a month before I`m back up and walking with a cane with three months as a walking without assistance goal...
What brand hip did they use.. Hope it wasn't De Puy... they have had failures causing additional surgeries.. just saying
Dennis, Glad to here surgery went well and that your wife Ann has a medical background, that will REALLY help with your recovery. I kinda know what you are going through, I had my knee replaced 2 years ago due to a previous dislocation with ligament tears and cartilage damage that happened while playing high school football 26 years earlier. I know it sucked the first week or so after the surgery(I'm sure you'll agree), but everyday will be better, just take it day by day one step at a time. Trying to to do too much too fast will actually slow your recovery. Hopefully you don't get a physical therapist "Nazi", like the one that visited my house to help in my recovery. Just wait till you go through the airport security and set off the sensors, thats a big plus . Good luck on your speedy recovery my friend. Todd
No core charge ! I dunno the brand name, Sarah... I did ask the doc if it is ceramic or metal once I heard of the two materials from another receipiant... I do know the one used is new, it`s not a rebuildt/remanufactured part... I`ll be joining the new website/forum now I reckon, And the new hip joint replacement information will flow freely...
Thanks Todd... The muscle which was cut and stretched is my largest pain right now... I have the weekend to heal before the real therapy starts monday... Yeah, I have fun with the locals when I pass through the courthouse security screening here, When the buzzer lights up, I start the strip search routine...
So you've got both legs now, what's next, an arm? You keep this up, your gonna have to change your name to Steve Austin or at least a redneck name like Bubba Americus. Glad too hear your doin' better.
Heed them virus warnings!!! Our laptop got infected recently, Ann hadto put the wireless gizmo on our "Ol` reliable"... The laptop is cured, but still in the shop, they closed early today... Y`all know how I keep harping on "listen/obey your therapist"??? I got a cute brunette coming to see me 3xs a week and I`m doing as she orders... DR. told me to come see him in 4 weeks without walking assistance... Thanks fer the prayer folks...
Nice to know you're progressing well Dennis, keep up the good work, wish I had a cute brunette coming to see me 3 times a week. Mind you, Lynette might have something to say about it.
Ugly is hard to fix, as is obesity, but they are both easier than stupid. Hey, that'd make a good bumper sticker Get well, Dennis. You'll be back working in no time.
You saying his gal is fat and ugly? Fat is an observation, but ugly is subjective. Our European friend may take exception to this.
