The Chinese wants to import into our country cheap, less than $10,000 EVs before tariffs, etc. From the pictures I've seen they don't look too sturdy. Anybody heard anything on how they hold up (or down) with the crash tests?. I saw a short item showing big lots full of what looks like fairly recent models abandoned or junked in China. Apparently they don't have a long life and then we will end up with more EV batteries to dispose of besides all of what GM is switching to. Personally I'm sticking with internal combustion

Watch out for tariffs ... unlikely you can get one here for that price.

Could be modern day take on the Trojan Horse. Who knows what nefarious hardware/software might be built in by the Chicoms?

Tariffs are necessary and prudent because playing field is uneven.

Like 1979 RANCHERO GT, another vote for tried-and-true internal combustion.

    Drill, baby, drill!

Another thing is the fire problems they have been having. When they burn, they burn. Google up the videos. 100 percent tariffs , shipping, and taxes will run these up at least mid $25,000. Still too much for what you're going to get. The junked ones in the videos didn't look to be more than a few years old. Yugos were better deals than these.

The only reason I would buy one of them is if I was looking to file an insurance claim on my burned down house.
