Saw this picture of the 'all new' 2015 Yukon and I says to myself, 'Self, that looks really familiar'.

    Then I realized why...............

Well, to be honest a lot of new cars look a lot like a lot of other new cars. Of course, the 72 fishmouth design theft shows this has been going on for a long time.

Well, to me it just looks a whole lot like a 2001 Yukon with one of those aftermarket "billet" grills on it.

The sharkfin antenna is also a change.

Cars sorta look the same because of aero, usually (that, and the automakers are the kings of copycat). Trucks, well, you can see there's nothing aero about either of those bricks. I will say GM makes the best SUV. Of course, you will pay for that.

That is the dumbest place I've seen one of those antenna's.

It's smack in the middle of the rear of the top of the cab of my Ram. I guess that's about the best place to hide it. The Durango has the pre-shark fin, flat little rectangular box thing. It's less obvious.

Maybe they put it there to slice the deer open when you hit it, making it easier to gut and dress by the side of the road.

I have to admit, the shark fin style is a little odd. I've heard of people swapping out the 'old style box' one for the shark fin for some reason. I think a CB with a 5' whip looks much better personally.

I do. I have to swap out the Durango's old school box style.

Color preference? You'll have to remove the headliner and drill holes in the roof. Not to mention the antenna wire. I have no idea what that looks like.

I do not drive a Mopar often, but when I do, it's black.

I don't often join other car forums, but when I do, Ribald is watching.

Alright, that's good enough to pour out the Faygo for.

I think Faygo Red Pop is better than Cheerwine, but in a blind taste test I probably couldn't tell the difference.

You could tell, for sure. Faygo Red Pop (available locally for me thanks to Rural King) is a strawberry soda whereas Cheerwine (not available locally but will be waiting for me in Charlotte next month) is a cherry cola. Come on, don't you know sodie-pop?

He won't need the wire. It's not like it needs to work. He just wants it for looks.

Most of the ricers around here do that.
Some even put on more than one.

That's very true. Whenever I see a whaletail on an Altima, it reminds me of when someone gets caught stalking someone and denies it, I mean, how delusional must you be to do that? A whaletail on an Altima? On the hood?
