If you've been following my 69 build you know I have decided to turn my old faded red base model Presidential Blue with a white top, aluminum slots and some type of white stripe. I was going to mark up the stripe with masking tape but thought photoshop might be easier. Trouble is, I don't have or know how to use Photoshop so I looked up various artists on Fiverr and hooked up with a guy in the UK who does cars. I sent him several photos of 69's from the web and my 69, along with instructions for the look I was after and 2 options for stripes I'm considering. This is what i got a couple hours later.
I should also mention although I do like the factory GT stripes my 69 is not a GT and for whatever reason I just don't care for clones no matter how good or accurate they are. Any stripe preference from the photoshops? I like them both.
Well, I have to say I like the color combo, but not the stripes. They have an ending, but no beginning, no continuity. How about something similar to a Boss 302 stripe that goes up and over the hood, in a continuous loop ? Just my opinion.
Of the three, I like the last, "Boss" one, but I am thinking that I would experiment a little more to see if something even better comes up. Seems like we should have several people here who like to play with Photoshop. I know Jalopy Journal has an ongoing thread where folks post picture of their car asking what it would look like with X changes, and a couple guys will photoshop it just for the fun of it and post. Wonder if this is something that would be popular here... Here is a kinda half C-Stripe..
I like the 68 style C stripe.Higher on body line,runs through door handles.White strip-white top...sweet! https://www.ebay.com/itm/compatible...hDarwoV3BBEV2b&_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851
A variation. With this one you could just buy a C-stripe and trim the bottom off and trim the front so that it is thinner, and - done.
