Okay, if you insist. I had our staff photographer take this, and I now have a framed copy in my office. This thing has been dropped, kicked, thrown, fallen off a car, and glued back together in its 17 years. RIP, buddy.

I don't think it is a complete part... its got a donut thingy that snaps around the neck integral with the strap that keeps you from loosing it. You tested the cheap mirror model, written that way because of the crunching right outside rear view mirror in the photo.

Was this the offset overlap test or was it the Debbie does k-barrier test?

Huevos: Sorry for the jack of yer thread - are you freshening up the bedding and glazing compound on your drip rails?

and now the misery of the drip rails...or rail...turns out you need at least 20oz....or 2 10oz tubes of the 3M 08509 bedding goo to get the job done...I only
had the 1 tube sooooooo used 9/10 of it in the passenger rail. Hope to do drivers side next weekend.

I'm sure that's not finished. Richard Rawlings wouldn't have noticed it, but Dave Kindig would have put a piece of tape on it, indicating it needs to be addressed. Good catch.

It looked like his passenger airbag deployed too. A DIY one, obviously.

it has a little overhang only in that one spot...not as bad as the shadow in that picture makes it look but its a poor fit...always was. The holes for both corner pieces are pretty sizeable and I was still barely able to the studs in there. Quality is Job 1!

well guys I took a real close look at the topper perimeter and I guess the foam Im using under neath must be thick enough the edges of my topper arent coming down any further than the trim rails..not touching the paint so far...that may change if the foam compresses a significant amount.

There was a guy I worked with at my last company who had crapping figured into his benefit plan. He would spend 30 minutes crapping in the morning, and another 30 minutes after lunch (how his legs didn't fall asleep I'll never know). That was 5 hours a week, 20 a month, 240 a year, give or take (he gave). He basically crapped 30 work days a year, over 3 weeks worth. He figured that by the time he gets 30 years in and retires, he'll have crapped almost three of them. Too bad he didn't put that much thought into actually working. Great guy, though.

There is an old joke about a man sitting on the steps to a railway station . He is clutching his stomach and moaning . A guy comes over and asks if he is OK . He looks up , sweaty faced and manages to get out " yeah , I'll be alright , I badly need to go to the toilet but I don't start work till 8 and it's only 7. 55. "
    Denis.
